Zarbee's, a leader in natural wellness solutions, known for its pediatrician-recommended children's cough syrups and sleep support, is committed to crafting safe and effective remedies with wholesome, nature-inspired ingredients. The goal was to enhance our user’s digital experience by undergoing a comprehensive Zarbee's website redesign. Our UX/UI team was deeply integrated throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation, prioritizing usability and user satisfaction. This effort was driven by close collaboration with development and product teams, ensuring the design vision comes across to be functional and user-centric digital platform.

Discovery & Research
The Zarbee's redesign discovery phase centered on aligning user needs with core business objectives. Strategic stakeholder sessions defined project constraints and goals. A comprehensive competitive analysis, spanning our global markets, identified key industry best practices and Zarbee's unique differentiators in both product offerings and brand communication. This research-driven approach ensured our design decisions were strategic and user-centric while still maintaining the brands core identity.
Design Phase
In the UX/UI design phase, the primary goal was to translate research insights into a user-friendly and globally consistent digital experience. In order to achieve this, we leveraged The White Label Design System. This system provided a robust library of pre-designed, reusable components and templates, ensuring visual and functional cohesion across all global markets. We began by wireframing key pages such as homepage, product landing and display page, as well as article landing pages. These wireframes were then transformed into high-fidelity mockups, adhering strictly to the design system's guidelines for typography, color palettes, and component usage. This approach not only helped us accelerate the design process but also ensured that regardless of the market, users would encounter a familiar and consistent interface. We effectively created a scalable and efficient design framework, facilitating a unified Zarbee's brand experience worldwide.
Bringing It All Together
The development and implementation of the new Zarbee's website involved strategic blends of modern technologies to ensure a robust and scalable platform. We utilized Contentful as our headless CMS, which provided a flexible content architecture, enabling us to manage and deliver content seamlessly across all global markets. This allowed for efficient content localization and updates without requiring constant code deployments.
For our front-end development, we leveraged Storybook to create a component-driven development environment. This was crucial for maintaining consistency and accelerating development, particularly when working with The White Label Design System. Storybook allowed developers to build and test UI components in isolation, ensuring they adhered to design specifications and functioned correctly. This approach facilitated efficient collaboration between designers and developers, as Storybook served as one of our living style guide and component library.
The integration of Contentful and Storybook enabled us to build a dynamic and maintainable website. Contentful provided the content structure and flexibility, while Storybook ensured UI consistency and accelerated front-end development. This combination streamlined the development process, allowing us to launch a high-quality, user-centric website that effectively represented the Zarbee's brand across global markets.
Data Collection
Beginning of 2025, our Zarbee's signup placements demonstrated a significant success in first-party data collection. The "New Routine Sweepstakes" email campaign proved exceptionally effective, driving a remarkable 89% of total signups, totaling 4,312 new user registrations. This highlights the power of targeted, engaging email promotions in capturing valuable user data. Following this, our lightbox popup form contributed 345 signups, indicating its effectiveness in capturing user attention during website visits. Finally, the footer signup form added 193 signups, providing a consistent, passive data collection point. These results show the importance of diverse signup strategies, with email campaigns proving to be the most impactful for collecting first-party data, which is crucial for personalized marketing and improved customer engagement.
